Gender Responsive Procurement & Gender Based Violence
Challenge
UN Women strives to ensure that all operations, including procurement processes, support its mandate to achieve gender equality and empower women. UN Women, therefore, endorses gender-responsive procurement as a critical part of the solution for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
HeForShe is a solidarity movement for the advancement of gender equality, initiated by the United Nations. Its goal is to achieve equality by encouraging men and boys to partake as agents of change and take action against negative stereotypes and behaviors.
Objective
UNWomen held a conference with women in leadership from most sectors of business, which focused on Gender Responsive Procurement and on a seperate occation did an outreach to try find possible causes for Gender Based Violence with #HeForShe movement.
Execution
This was executed as a full day conference & a week long of travel in South Africa to try document the impact of gender based violence. Ours, as Exquisite Motivity was to capture all the activities and engagements which would document the memories of the project. This was captured in a run and gun style of shooting with one camera and microphone.

Results
A series of stunning videos were created, each focusing on different themes from the coverage of the project. These videos can be used to communicate effectively with prospects on the work contributed by UNWOMEN, to try combat GRP & GBV.
